The Brighton Surf Life Saving Club (South Australia) is focussed on providing an inclusive and enjoyable environment where we save lives, foster “Great Australians” from wherever they come, and build a strong community spirit.
Our club provides an opportunity for young and old alike to participate in the activities of our surf lifesaving community, in our lifesaving education and development, beach competition and club social community.

We are extremely proud of being a 100% volunteer club and our current strategic plan recognises the quality with which we deliver our services to the community and our membership.

We strive to be the leading Australian volunteer institution actively focussed on inclusion, equality, youth development and leadership, emergency management and environmental care. Members of our club continue to be the largest contributing group to our State’s Surf Life Saving Emergency Operations Group.
We see ourselves as leaders in emergency management techniques, sharing the value of education, competency and social responsibility in the work that we do. As a club, our level of education, capability and integrity is highly regarded across SA’s lifesaving community.
We are part of a leading institution that contributes too building great young (and older) people across so many capabilities. Our efforts are demonstrated in the great behaviours, respect and culture exhibited by our youth and we strive to build a culture of paying forward in our surf lifesaving community.
At Brighton SLSC we hold our history close to our hearts, fiercely continuing to value those who created the clubs passion and history, but actively seek to build new stories of the current generation.
And while we contribute to develop the culture of Surf Life Saving, for our kids that simply has to transpose to an environment offering great support and providing the opportunity to have the best fun in everything they do here. Having the best fun is also a pretty good goal for the adults.
