Age Groups

Your child will be allocated to their correct age group according to the National Surf Lifesaving guidelines, with no exceptions. We do not permit a child to be in another age group just because their friends or siblings are in that age group. The guidelines are as follows:

The age of your child as of the 30^th of September will dictate the age group.

• E.g. If your child is 7 years old as of the 30^th of September, they will be in under 8’s.
• E.g. If your child is 8 years old as of the 30^th of September, they will be in under 9’s.
