Working with Children Checks (WWCC) are required for everyone from the age of 14 years volunteering with children. They are free and can be requested by contacting the BSLSC Secretary 

  • If you already have a WWCC through another sporting group, please send to the Secretary so that this can be loaded into your member account on your behalf. We require the reference number, unique ID, Issue date, full name and date of birth. 
  • If you are under the age of 18 the WWCC verification will need to be manually completed. To enable this application to be completed the Secretary must physically view the identification documentation and complete the application on their behalf. 
  • All BSLSC members will be gradually asked to gain this certification to ensure that as a club we uphold the highest possible standard of child safety. 

National Police Checks (NPC) are required by committee members, coaches, officials, photographers (not exhaustive list, please see below). They are free and can be requested by contacting the BSLSC Secretary
