Friday night's March 5th Cash Jackpot draw
for $275.00 was won by Kym Rothe but unfortunately Kym was not in attendance so next week's draw will be for $300.00.

We have quite a large contingent going up to Queensland for the Aussies, including 2 March Past Teams, 2 R&R teams, a few Masters and competitors ranging from U15 up to Open. Vin Cobiac, Ray Wright and Barb Staite are all Officiating. Good luck to all our members. There are several trailers and a boat being towed up. If you want any gear taken up to Queensland, you need to be at the Club 5pm this Thursday (11th March) night to put your Board and ski on the trailer – AND BRING YOUR OWN STRAPS. You will also need to ensure it is returned to the trailer to be towed home when it is all over.

SUBJECT: IRB State Team information - Interstate Championships Penguin, Tasmania 16 th April 2010. Expression of Interest for Team Manager Expressions of Interest for crews Please note the following information regarding the 2009-10 IRB State Team selection process, Expressions of Interest for crews and Expression of Interest for a Team Manager:  An Expression of Interest form attached is to be completed by all crews who wish to try out for team selection and who are committed to attend the Australian IRB Championships, Penguin, Tasmania over the period of 16 th- 18th April 2010.  Expressions of Interest are also being sought for a Team Manager (form attached). This appointment will be confirmed by the Board of Surf Sports (BoSS) after the close of nominations. Further clarification of the role of Team Manager can be obtained from the SLSSA website By-Laws: All nominees are required to provide a brief resume of experience to support their nomination. South Australian Team selections will be finalised by 25 th March 2010 Competitors wishing to be considered will be required to attend training sessions and be attending the Australian IRB Championships in Tasmania. Competitors will be required to arrange their own accommodation and travel and this will be at the competitor’s expense. Training sessions will be conduct at the following venues and times and competitors will be required to provide their own fully equipped IRB for these sessions: o Port Noarlunga/South Port (meet at Port Noarlunga) - Sunday, 14 th March 2010 – 10.00 am until 12.30 pm o Port Noarlunga/Brighton (venue to be confirmed) – Selected Team Training – Friday, 26 th March 2010 - 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm o Brighton – Selected Team Training – Sunday, 28 th March 2010 - 6.00 pm until 8.00 pm o Port Noarlunga/South Port (meet at Port Noarlunga) – 9 th April 2010 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm SA State Team training will be conducted at Penguin on Thursday, 15 th April 2010 in the afternoon (time to be confirmed). All team members are required to attend. Craft Scrutineering for Interstate equipment – Friday, 16 th April 2010 time to be advised. SA State Team Meeting – prior to competition, 16 th April 2010 details to be advised. NIPPERS PHOTOGRAPHS
2009/2010 SEASON - Disks of photographs per age group taken over the whole 09/10 season (training, carnivals and state titles) will be available for parents to purchase, however not for quite a few weeks due to the number of photographs and the time needed to sort through and edit.
Members will be advised in the eNews when disks are available to order.

PREVIOUS SEASONS PHOTOS - Disks of photographs per age group per season are available to order now. Cost for U9-U14 age groups is $15 for one disk and $5 for each additional, and $5 each for U7 & U8 age groups.
Order by emailing Noelene with season / age group / nipper name / your address / phone number.
Disks of previous seasons can be available for collection on Nipper Presentation Day 27th March.
